Seems like a small move but do you know that it’s possible to Sue through NFT airdrop. At least this was a legal approval by a judge in the UK, aside how ridiculous this may sound, I just can’t help but notice how the judge was able to accept the new changes by using the blockchain technology as a way to enforce the law.

So a man got scammed of over $2 Million, where he sent USDT and USDC to separate wallets, the owners of the wallets are obviously unknown as they are anonymous, except they are linked to a crypto exchange. This man took the issue to the court and was told by the judge to airdrop the legal document an of the Sue to these addresses as an NFT. It’s kind of funny because I still don’t know how this is expected to be implemented especially knowing the fact that these crypto addresses can be anonymous.

I have questions, what if the addresses were on DEX wallet where these owners are completely anonymous, how will they acknowledge the Legal NFT lawsuit? What if they don’t open their wallets for months, or don’t even notice the NFT lawsuit? Because people get lots of NFT airdrop everyday and most of them don’t check to see what is in there. I personally don’t see how this will work fine, it’s a idea but it can not be effective if only the address is connected to a centralized exchange, this way the exchange can use KYC to know who the person is and give their details to the court.

If not through KYC to identify these anonymous scammers, the blockchain NFT law suit is pointless. People just have to be more careful, this act just shows how much the law is looking forward to helping in protecting users and their digital assets. But if I turn out to be wrong and this goes through, then this has paved a great way for lots of people who get duped by unknown people. May be they can finally get justice for being scammed and probably get their money back.
