1. What is the importance of commenting on the platform and why do you measure your engagement?

When I first came into the "magic circle" of this Gamified blockchain experience, I wanted to see each type of player and to notice HOW they're playing this social game, WHY, and WHEN they are doing it. It's never about just staking your tokens. It's about much more.
The WHAT: Staking the reputation (it's a way of saying) means forming engagement, friendships, meaningful bonds beyond the value or the number of the people who liked your posts.
Commenting is just a "communication", "engagement" feature, it's not the full package. It offers the change for feedback, a better understanding, appreciation, or depreciation of the content, it clarifies things, it might hurt sometimes, it might destroy egos or simply hurt newbies which are not adapted sometimes with a harsh language. This is why I believe that we should look into the message we are sending to new people here.
👉 I had a great time when I have joined Hive again because people were commenting, supporting my initiatives, my articles, but mostly, my personal choices. So, there you have it! Genuine appreciation that made me post an average of 5 posts per day.

Why do I measure my engagement?...in fact, I don't measure it quantitatively, or qualitatively.
Why?
Because Ecency is doing a great job on the quantitative part and I am the second one in this Blockchain with a high engagement in the monthly stats.

As for quality, the feedback I am receiving from people who had seen my evolution around these months in Hive is enough qualitative feedback for me. The feedback I got from Hive users on Twitter and on discord was always a tool for me to measure the engagement on Hive and with Hive users, even outside Hive itself.

*2. Do you think commenting can bring short, medium and long term good rewards to your content?

It's the *Hive dynamics that truly matter. Trust me.

The answer is all 3. It depends on how engaged you are beyond just commenting. People tend to forget. If you post rarely and you are new, some people might forget about you. They might even forget to come and read your articles, even they have been following you previously. But, if you have found your "nest', your tribe, they will remember you once you come back. It's all a matter of belonging sometimes.
I am a wanderess...I always visit several tribes and post here and there. I'm too wild to just stay in one place. I like exploring, engaging, commenting. And with permanence in that, doing it more often, it's only normal that people know exactly who you are.
BUT commenting is not enough to get good rewards for your comment. After all, we are all here to reward those articles that are closer to our system of beliefs, with reliable information, with our likes, rather than dislikes. Your followers and the ones that will reward you are people that truly appreciate your content or those that want to befriend you for a reason or another.

Let's stay with these things for now.

It felt amazing to find old friends from EmpireKred on Hive. Our comments are a matter of courtoisie, care, and genuine bonds after all our years together without any crypto involved.

Another importance of commenting on the platform - getting some badges, raising your reputation, that's social proof and personal achievement of your time here.

Cuando entré por primera vez en el "círculo mágico" de esta experiencia de blockchain gamificada, quería ver a cada tipo de jugador y notar CÓMO están jugando este juego social, POR QUÉ y CUÁNDO lo están haciendo. Nunca se trata solo de apostar tus tokens. Se trata de mucho más. El QUÉ: * Apostar la reputación * (es una forma de decirlo) significa formar compromiso, amistades, vínculos significativos más allá del valor o la cantidad de personas a las que les gustaron tus publicaciones. Comentar es solo una función de "comunicación", "participación", no es el paquete completo. Ofrece el cambio por retroalimentación, una mejor comprensión, apreciación o depreciación del contenido, aclara las cosas, puede doler a veces, puede destruir egos o simplemente herir a novatos que a veces no se adaptan con un lenguaje duro. Por eso creo que deberíamos analizar el mensaje que estamos enviando a la gente nueva aquí. 👉 Lo pasé muy bien cuando me uní a Hive nuevamente porque la gente estaba comentando, apoyando mis iniciativas, mis artículos, pero sobre todo, mis elecciones personales. ¡Ahí lo tienes! Agradecimiento genuino que me hizo publicar un promedio de 5 publicaciones por día.

Por qué mido mi compromiso? ... de hecho, no lo mido cuantitativa ni cualitativamente. Por qué? Porque Ecency está haciendo un gran trabajo en la parte cuantitativa y yo soy el segundo en esta Blockchain con un alto compromiso en las estadísticas mensuales.

En cuanto a la calidad, los comentarios que recibo de las personas que han visto mi evolución durante estos meses en Hive son suficientes comentarios cualitativos para mí. Los comentarios que recibí de los usuarios de Hive en Twitter y en Discord siempre fueron una herramienta para medir el compromiso en Hive y con los usuarios de Hive, incluso fuera de Hive.

* 2. Crees que comentar puede traer buenas recompensas a corto, mediano y largo plazo a tu contenido?

Es la *dinámica de la colmena lo que realmente importa. Créeme.

La respuesta es todo 3. Depende de cuán comprometido esté más allá de solo comentar. La gente tiende a olvidar. Si publica con poca frecuencia y es nuevo, es posible que algunas personas se olviden de usted. Incluso pueden olvidarse de venir y leer sus artículos, incluso si lo han estado siguiendo anteriormente. Pero, si has encontrado tu "nido", tu tribu, te recordarán una vez que regreses.
