If it is lining up with a movie release and Splinterlands somehow garners a bunch of immediate attention, I won't be too mad at that. Surely some will stick around and it will give us a chance to reposition.
Personally, I'd like to see the minisets go away entirely. I think the DAO needs to approve what new assets can be created and sold into the game and the DAO should get a 20% cut in anything it allows. Once this miniset comes out, there are going to be over 400 unique cards in playable in modern. That's too much.
I agree, there is just too many cards being introduced. Its one of the reasons for my suggestion number (2).
