What is RentMoney's Deals & Steals?

In this topic I will list two things. One will always be a Splinterlands asset I have for sale. I'll offer it at a discounted price here on my blog vs. the lowest price its listed for on the official Splinterlands Market. The second thing I will list (The Steal) is a Splinterlands asset that is for sale by someone else in which I think has potential to give decent returns. Last week we hosted a giveaway in our Deals & Steals topic. The results of that giveaway will be posted at the bottom of this topic so if you have no interest in the Deals & Steals scroll on down to the section that is titled GIVEAWAY RESULTS to see who the winners are.

This Week's Deal

For this weeks deal we have on offer the Legendary Lord Of Darkness BETA version. If one were to scan the Splinterlands Marketplace they would see the cheapest one of these for sale is listed at the price of $35.40 by @richi0927. Using the DEC trade value currently offered for private sales on Splinterlands a $35.40 priced card would cost you 32,799 DEC. But why pay that price when the dealing and wheeling Splinterlands fanatic on the corner of Splinterlands street is willing to cut you a deal. On offer here today is that same card for just 30,500 DEC. That's a 2,299 DEC SAVINGS. If you are interested say so in the comment section and the card is yours (First come / First Serve).

Lord Of Darkness Lore:

The Lord of Darkness is the ruler of the Dark Eternals of Mortis. Long ago, when he was named Lagfael, he discovered the truth of darkness from a Dark Tzar who paid him a visit from the dark eternity. Defecting from the living of the Splinterlands, Lagfael wrote the Dark Codex and began recruiting souls for the Dark Eternal collective. The Lord of Darkness loves combat, and his mighty flame whip leads Dark Eternal teams to victory again and again at Mount Mox.

This Deal offer is only valid for seven days from post creation (When this post reaches Post Payout the Deals offer will then be considered expired). Once the seven days is up I will make a new Deals & Steals topic in which I will offer a different card at a discounted price.

The Steal

In this portion of the Deals and Steals topic we will go over a Splinterlands card that is listed for sale in the Splinterlands marketplace in which I think has the potential to give decent ROI (Return On Investment). No-one knows for sure what tomorrow brings so I base my findings on the state of todays marketplace.

GRUMPY DWARF LORE

Having run from a great terror on the other side of the world, the Dwarves are new to the Splinterlands. They don’t take kindly to strangers, and since they are now surrounded by strangers, the residents of the Splinterlands have taken to calling them Grumpy Dwarves. They are quite fierce with axes.

Why Is The Grumpy Dwarf This Weeks Steal?

Currently the Grumpy Dwarf is the lowest price BETA Neutral in existance. One BCX of this card will cost you just $0.11 USD. Currently two users have the card listed at this price (@snipr & @reazuliqbal). If we take a look at the second lowest priced Common Beta Neutral card (ELVEN CUTTHROAT) we will see it cost $0.29 USD. The most expensive Common Beta Neutral (CENTAUR) will cost you $0.90 USD.

That's an increase in cost of about 3X to 8X when compared to other cards in its own category. If we take a look at the average cost of BETA Neutral cards we will see the average cost would be $0.43 USD. I got the average cost via adding the BETA Neutral Common card list prices (One BCX Of Each Card =$1.72) and dividing by the amount of Beta Neutral Commons in existance (4). That means the average cost of a Level One Common Beta Neutral is 4X more expensive than the current price of a Level One Grumpy Dwarf. Hmm, I believe I just talked myself into buying some.
