PolyCub Kingdoms are Looking (relatively) Attractive Again

PolyCub Kingdoms are currently offering some of the best returns on the Polygon network especially if you're willing to pool stables with either the polygon wrapped versions of BTC or ETH.

I'm focussing just on Polygon here given that it's proven to be reliable over the last couple of years, and the fees remain the cheapest out there in the DEFI wonderland!

The current returns available on the PCUB Kingdoms are....

  • Just > 6% for the DAI-USDT-USDC Kingdom
  • Just > 8.52% for the WETH-DAI Kingdom
  • Just > 21% for the USD-BTC-ETH Tri-Kingdom.

Obviously the Tri Kingdom is the most attractive, but all of these offers compare favourably with the two largest yield aggregators on Polygon...

Beefy

Beefy Finance currently offers up to 6% on its stable pools for example, which is comparable with the PCub tri-stable pool.

Although whether you think the single-asset USDT pool is more or less risky because it's only one asset is down to your interpretation! Personally I prefer to split assets and diversify.

Autofarm

You can actually get a better return on Autofarm's ETH-stable pools, but there are no options available that compare with the BTC-ETH-DAI Tri pool on Pcub...

PCUB Kingdoms - is now the time to pool?

Having watched the price of both Cub and PCub drift downward, I get the feeling that the $0.02 level might just be the bottom, as the price has been stable down there for a while now.

And the LEO price has held up at around the $0.05 level, so there does seem to be a degree of overall price stability.

And at rates >10% for some of the larger Market Cap tokens I am tempted to start pooling again!

One thing I certainly won't be doing is swapping any stables, BTC or ETH for PolyCub, that's a risk too far, but at current rates going into these Kingdoms again is something I am considering.

Certainly looking at other DEFI options on Polygon, the Cub Kingdoms are up there as first choice, especially the Tri-Kingdom with the >21% return!
