I'm in full agreement with you. However, it is naïve to think that we will go from centuries of governmental control to none overnight. There will need to be a transitionary period run by people who have a more forward thinking vision about what that post-governmental society will look like. I think that lawyers could serve a pivotal role in the transition as they are positioned well as power brokers between the ruling class and the citizens.
