Very sorry to read this, @belemo, after first "hearing" about it on LeoFi's Discord server. You are definitely taking the right step in getting a Ledger. The added security it provides is "worth its weight in gold" for the additional peace of mind we get from using it.

Very sad commentary on the evil in this world, that those with the skills to commit a crime like this can't / won't figure out something much more productive and constructive to do with their lives.

P.S. Once your Ledger is activated, you will have a different address on BSC (from the one in your post) and everywhere else you use it. A nice added benefit of any EVM-based blockchains, like BSC (CubFi) and Polygon (PolyCubFi upcoming ...), is that you will have a list of addresses you can use, in the event having multiple accounts is helpful to you ...

P.P.S. I also use a product called PC Matic, which claims to protect you from any malware on your computer, e.g. keyloggers ...
