Yes @flauwy, we all have to open the ETH app, on our Ledgers (not in MetaMask), and enable that setting, as it is disabled by default.

As stated in this post, my frustration is that the Ledger developers haven't made their upgrade process "smart" enough to preserve 😠 your settings, when "upgrading" to the latest version of any of their apps.

I think they should be able to do better than that ...

My lesson learned is to double back on an easily avoided (for me) practice of keeping lists of what to do and not do, in certain situations. To avoid falling in the same "pit" that I have fallen into at some point in the past. After all, if we don't learn anything from our past, we are almost certainly going to be facing it again, at some point in the future ...

Specifically, in this case, after following the prompts to update an app on Ledger Live, to go to my list and manually 😒👎 change any settings, as needed, back to what they were. Until an "auto" solution is in place ...

Anyway, we live and (hopefully) learn. Onward and upward! 🦁🚀
