Right now Twitter only supports NFTs (JPEG, PNG) minted on the Ethereum blockchain, CAN HIVE make it to the list ?

It was a pleasant surprise this morning to see Twitter now adding support for NFTs. I am not sure, why they showed me this ad, because, after some research I see, it should only be available to Twitter Blue subscribers now, may be they want to show their adaptability for blockchain ? I got interested to see which blockchains they support, because they say proof of ownership is stored on a blockchain, a digital database that’s publicly accessible. But then we have several NFT projects that are publicly accessible, right ? I have already been able to set up my Hive Punks as profile picture, can I do the same on twitter ? I do have few HiveFolks NFTs as well.

Looking at this, I thought, I should be able to use my punks. But then apparently, they say they are now supporting only these crypto wallets :

• Argent
• Coinbase Wallet
• Ledger Live
• MetaMask
• Rainbow
• Trust Wallet

For a moment, I read that Ledger Live as Ledger Hive - crazy me for HIVE. But then these are not NFT producers, right ? I have not used others but I have used Metamask for Cub. It does not have any NFT on its own. So I did further explore. And here is what I found :

Right now Twitter only supports static image NFTs (JPEG, PNG) minted on the Ethereum blockchain (for example ERC-721 and ERC-1155 tokens). We don’t currently support SVGs. As a reminder, all media must also follow Twitter’s sensitive media policy.

But hey, getting a NFT on Ethereum blockchain must not be very cheap right ? If twitter rolls out this feature to everyone, then this is going to be a huge market, isn't it ? Isn't HIVE a better choice than Ethereum blockchain ? We already have NFT projects, so its all about twitter connecting to our NFT wallets. I am not sure how the Ethereum gas fees contributes to this, but HIVE definitely has full advantage there. So it will be an opportunity for both HIVE as well as Twitter because we can build NFTs cheaper than Ethereum, right ? I am going to tag this post to TwitterBlue and ask to integrate this new feature with HIVE. Let's join and show the power of our HIVE community to TwitterBlue and Twitter.

And by the way, if you are a Twitter Blue subscriber and plan to activate your NFT profile picture, then please be aware, that they can see your current and historical transactions and holdings, including all other NFTs in that crypto wallet, which is fine, because its public. But it could also bring in additional risk - if someone hacks twitter and tries to request funds from your wallet prompting you to private key or seed phrase - they have put a nice disclaimer.
