Here's another one of my guides...

This one is to show you the steps to take if you need, or want to unstake your LP (liquidity pool) tokens, in order to free up the funds. I figure that since I'm still unsure of the process, I'm doing things very slowly to be certain that I am doing it properly. On top of it I'm typing this post, at the same time so I can track the process more accurately.

If you already know how to do this, you may find this boring, though if you do have a look at how I do these things, please let me know what you think. I am open to critiques, especially if you find something wrong in the guide!

Let's get to it

This guide, as I said earlier is for Polycub Farms. So go to the farm page, chose the farm from which you'd like to unstake your funds from.

What I highlighted in green is the button you'll need to click on to decrease your position in the liquidity pool.

The next window that pops up will let you choose how much you want to unstake from the farm. You can input the exact amount you wish to unstake in the field highlighted in green, or alternatively click on the button labeled Max to unstake everything without having to type the whole number.

When you're done there just click on Confirm, your wallet should open up automatically and ask you to confirm the transaction. Yes, there's a gas fee to pay... it's close to nothing compared to some other chains!

Once your transaction has been confirmed you'll need to go to Sushi Swap's Legacy Pool to find the LP token you're trying to remove/retrieve.

Click on the pool you're removing token from to find a drop down menu with your funds on display:

Click on Remove

Click on Approve

Sign the request and the Confirm Withdrawal button will light up

This next screen will ask you to confirm what you will receive

Once again your wallet will ask you to confirm the gas fees for this transaction, click on the Confirm button

At this point your funds should appear in your wallet under the original assets that made up the pair for the liquidity pool in question.

I hope you found this guide useful, I will try to keep making these as I go on my own crypto journey! Until next time...
