Softbank Group Corp of Japan is exploring the possibility of Tiktok bidding for Indian business. For this SoftBank Group is looking for local partners. This was stated in the Bloomberg report citing sources aware of the matter. Softbank Group also has a stake in Tittok's parent company Baydance.
SoftBank Group may bid to form a group with local partners to buy TikTok's Indian business. For this Softbank Group's Reliance Jio Infocom Limited and Bharti Airtel Limited have been in talks for several months. According to sources SoftBank is still exploring possibilities of partnership.
