Often, even though we are experiencing #hive every day and understand better about the crypto market, some doubts still remain in our heads. We can either look on the internet or ask a friend in the community, but sometimes shame speaks louder and we keep our question to ourselves (like me) for a long time.
So, browsing through my social networks, I saw an article that caught my attention, because it was exactly one of my oldest doubts: why the expressions “Bull Market” and “Bear Market”, are used to determine a market period? What do these animals have to do with it?

*Bull Market
This term has a bull as its representative. Okay, but why is that? Because the attack movement of the bulls, with their horns, starts from the bottom to the top, that is, this represents the moment when the cryptocurrencies and the financial market are coming out of a low and making an upward movement.
Simple isn't it? Now imagine having no idea about it! I had never stopped to think that bulls perform this movement and that, therefore, it was associated with when things are heating up, with the market's upward trend in general.
This bullish moment is usually accompanied by great confidence in the market, which makes people more likely to enter with their investments expecting a good return.
With a high value this trend is created, that it is indeed possible to live with the help of income invested in cryptos or in the financial market.
*Bear Market
Following the same idea as the bulls, but to represent the downward movement, this term is used because the bears carry out an attack that starts from the top down, with their claws.
Thus, they have been associated with this market movement, when things start to cool down and values fall, as well as widespread distrust and uncertainty of all types of financial and crypto markets.
We can use the year 2022 as an example, which became a major challenge for the crypto market, where values began to melt and this was felt here at #hive as well.
Many assets have had their prices plummeted and we also feel that many authors have stopped posting because of this fear, distrust and disbelief in the crypto future.
*Finishing
I won't go into too deep detail, but the summary on the terms are these. So recapitulating, the bull represents the high of the assets while the bear the same fall.
Therefore, to go through these moments, it is best to always do a lot of research, read posts or articles from reliable sources and try to learn as much as possible! Small tips for this are, for example:

Never invest more than you are willing to lose. It's simple, if you have an X value, just take a part of it and invest it, play the game safely and over time, it could evolve well.

The bear market usually brings despair, but it can also be a great time to buy tokens or invest in some businesses, due to the reduced values, it is easier for you to “enter” the game.

Just like in the bull market, it can be the best time to sell and make good money, or reinvest in other places and goals. It is always necessary to study the market and try to identify the best moment for it.

Muitas vezes, apesar de estarmos vivenciando a #hive todo dia e entendermos melhor sobre o mercado cripto, algumas dúvidas ainda ficam na nossa cabeça. Podemos tanto procurar na internet ou perguntar para algum amigo da comunidade, mas, às vezes a vergonha fala mais alto e ficamos com a nossa questão guardada para nós (assim como eu) por um bom tempo.
Então, navegando pelas minhas redes sociais, vi uma matéria que me chamou muito a atenção, pois era exatamente uma das minhas dúvidas mais antigas: porque as expressões “Bull Market” e “Bear Market”, são utilizadas para determinar um período do mercado? O que esses animais têm a ver com isso?
Isso mesmo, tinha essa dúvida até hoje! Aproveitei essa oportunidade para largar de preguiça e finalmente ler sobre o assunto. *Bull Market
Esse termo tem como o representante um touro. Ok, mas por que isso? Porque o movimento de ataque dos touros, com os seus chifres, partem de baixo para cima, ou seja, isso representa o momento em que as criptomoedas e o mercado financeiro, está saindo de uma baixa e realizando um movimento de alta.
Simples não é? Agora imagina não fazer ideia sobre isso! Nunca havia parado para pensar que os touros realizam este movimento e que, assim, foi associado para quando as coisas estão esquentando, com a tendência de alta do mercado de forma geral.
Esse momento de alta, é geralmente acompanhado por uma grande confiança no mercado, que torna as pessoas mais suscetíveis a entrar com seus investimentos esperando um bom retorno.
Com um valor elevado essa tendência é criada, de que é, sim, possível viver com a ajuda de uma renda aplicada em criptos ou no mercado financeiro.
*Bear Market
Seguindo a mesma ideia dos touros, mas para representar o movimento de baixa, esse termo é utilizado porque os ursos realizam um ataque que parte de cima para baixo, com as suas garras.
Assim, foram associados a este movimento do mercado, quando as coisas começam a esfriar e os valores a cair, assim como a desconfiança e incertezas generalizadas de todos os tipos de mercados financeiros e de criptos.
Podemos utilizar como exemplo o ano de 2022 que se tornou um grande desafio para o mercado cripto, onde os valores começaram a derreter e isso foi sentido aqui na #hive também.
Muitos ativos tiveram seus preços despencados e também sentimos que muitos autores deixaram de postar por conta deste medo, desconfiança e descrença no futuro cripto.
*Finalizando
Não entrarei em detalhes muito profundos, mas o resumo sobre os termos são esses. Então recapitulando, o touro representa a alta dos ativos enquanto o urso a queda dos mesmos.
Sendo assim, para passar por estes momentos, o melhor é sempre pesquisar muito, ler postagens ou matérias de fontes confiáveis e tentar aprender o máximo possível! Pequenas dicas para isso são, por exemplo:

Nunca invista mais do que você está disposto a perder. É simples, se você tem um X valor, apenas pegue uma parte deste e invista, jogue o jogo seguramente e com o tempo, poderia evoluir bem.

O mercado na baixa (Bear Market), geralmente traz um desespero, mas, também podem ser um ótimo momento para comprar tokens ou investir em alguns negócios, por conta dos valores reduzidos, fica mais fácil você “entrar” no jogo.

Assim como no mercado de alta (Bull Market), pode ser o melhor momento para vender e fazer um bom dinheiro, ou reinvestir em outros lugares e objetivos. Cabe sempre fazer o estudo do mercado e tentar identificar o melhor momento para isso.
