RE: The IRS will need more than user declaration of crypto holdings to be able to tax the ecosystem

I have always believed that the marginal tax rate system and taxing earnings period is flawed logic, as it discourages hard work, as extra work results in higher taxes. I am also a big fan of a simplfied system which taxes consumption, thus encourages savings and investment, two things I think any economy can benefit from. I thought I would lead such a lobby group when I retired, but retirement hasn't come yet.
