I just closed the No Loss Lottery, a Prize Linked Savings account I ran for three years. I accepted One Leo as the purchase price for tickets and ticket price was never lost, they were invested in Cubfinance and the earnings provided prizes. It had about 70-80 customers and around 6000 Leo from them and 3000 Leo from me to generate decent prizes. It never really caught on, perhaps bad marketing by me or lack of trust, unclear. But after 3 years I decided I had given it my best shot and it was time to shut it down and build something better.

I have not lost my enthusiasm for Leofinance or Cubfinance for that matter. I think I just lost my enthusiasm for projects which weren’t growing, we’re sinkholes for time and decided if they didn’t get big in 3 years, they probably weren’t going to… there’s 20,000 people here, and the projects didn’t attract 1 percent of them. So the members have spoken, the project has no utility to them.

It is clear that my true passion is crypto, I can’t get enough of it. It infected me six years ago, starting with mining, then investing in staking, then discovering DPOS through Steemit, and the smart contracts on Steem.

But it’s time to take a break and step back to look at what I did right and what I did wrong. Decide on a singular focus and regroup in the future.
