It’s a new day, and that means time to share another fantastic piece from my recent purchase from the Intaglio Mint.

If you haven’t been following along you might want to check out my posts for the last two days. Both posts had amazing silver rounds in them.

Today I’m sharing a “Molon Labe” 2023 silver round. If you don’t know what Molon Labe is, here is the definition.

Molon Labe (or ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ) is a classical Greek phrase meaning “come and take [them],” attributed to King Leonidas of Sparta as a defiant response to the demand that his soldiers lay down their weapons.

Now knowing the meaning you will understand the depiction in the round.

They have done many different designs of Molon Labe rounds over the years. They are all in my opinion fantastic designs.
