When someone claims that money isn't important and that "money makes you unhappy," they may be showing their inner motivation. Perhaps they have no money, and their comments are intended as consolation.

A greater number of people would agree that freedom makes people happy. And far fewer individuals would claim that freedom is positive and desirable than would negate the fact that money is positive and desirable. Financial freedom is a vital component of overall freedom. One is truly financially free when one does not need to work to pay their bills.

Health and family are two of life's most important things. I say that you have a fairly good life if you have those two things.

If you were miserable before money, acquiring some cash may just be a temporary solution. Because money may not solve all problems. But there is no denying that money brings you a better life.

Find the correct balance in which you regard money as a tool that can help you create greater life experiences and opportunities.

It's a good idea to have a budget, financial goals, and perhaps a net worth number in mind. That's always a good thing! Don't be caught up in the bad cycle of unhealthy spending habits, or never being satisfied with what you have.
