The HIVE community and its enormous power to bring change to peoples lives
Hello fellow Lions and Lionesses! Today I found an amazing and inspiring POST by @collinz and it made me smile and filled my heart with true joy. It showed how powerful our web3 community can be and how it can change the situation of not only a single person but that of entire communities.
You will have to read the post yourself but the too long did not read version is this:
The Hive Borehole Project was successfully launched today and the water facility is ready to serve the residents of the Fawoade town. It was an honor for us(@mcsamm and @collinz) to supervise this project from its inception to its completion. Hive has indeed set a record in Ghana today, being the first blockchain to fund a project that will impact the lives of many people in Ghana. It was a great pleasure for us to represent the brand we believe and promote today in Fawoade Town in the Ashanti Region- Ghana.
For some of us it is completely natural to open the tap and clean drinkable water flows out of it. Simple as that. There is enough water for everyone on earth, the problem is that it is not distributed equally around the globe.
Imagine having to walk 100 Yards to get your water. Imagine having to walk 3 miles to get your water. Imagine having to walk 10 miles to get your water.
HIVE indeed can change lives! As I already said not only yours or mine but that of entire communities. And we can do this together project by project solving one problem after the other. This will kick in even more when widespread adoption of blockchain technology and the so often mentioned NETWORK EFFECT will kick in.
There is already countless projects going from music videos to childrens hospitals being funded through the power of the HIVE blockchain, and of course some are more important or pressing than the other but the key is HIVE can solve many problems.
We have a great community and if we work together we can solve many problems one after the other by doing a few simple steps:
- introduce the problem
- write about what is needed to solve it
- gather enough supporters around
- get the project rolled out
This may sound very simple but it is as it is. If there is enough will and enthusiasm behind the project it can be done simply by the power of our community. WEB3 is now and we are all part of this.
We can change lives and we can solve problems by simply working together and get enough power to help solve the issues.
