We do not hear long term objectives discussed much in cryptocurrency. Most are focused either upon the development of their projects or the "mooning" of different tokens. Everyone is excited to see our fortunes grow rapidly.

There is another factor to consider, one that is widely discussed in the present financial world. People often approach markets with long term objectives. They are not so concerned where things are today but, rather, where they will be in a few decades.

It is often said that wealth can be accumulated over a period of time when putting compound interest to work. This was the idea behind the 401K program in the States. Money is taken from people's checks and invested. Spanning a period of decades, the growth would result in hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars.

The one challenge with this idea is that it rarely works. Yes, people do accumulate money yet it is not enough for most to live on Due to the fact that wages were suppressed for a couple decade as well as fees being taken under the retirement programs, most find it impossible to get ahead. When you consider the average money manager fails to be the returns on the S&P, it is no wonder most end up broke. The fees obliterate whatever ROI is received.
