Hello, SPIer's. The time has come to began to restructure SPinvest around a little bit. During COVID lockdowns, I had a lot of free time, alot of us did but things are getting back to normal and this means less free time. I need to think of a way to keep everything we have running while continuing to grow, add new projects, and keep expanding. If this means having to pay incentives for people to be responsible for things, then maybe that is the way to do it. Thinking about how to automate SPinvest is hard as we would never get an accurate fund value as it's super hard to track real-time LP token values and 99% of HE tokens have paper values. Tracking 30ish investments to not require any manual input is almost impossible based on the investments we hold so the weekly reports will continue to be done manually until further notice are never. lol.

It'll prob take a few weeks to come up with a solid plan. I'll be needing to gather some feedback from some folk and get a chat with our coder to see what we can do about maybe even a few simple upgrades like 2 token dividends, unstacked for 1, staked for another. What other token? People could go pick 1 are mix and match to get both. This is something that is very simple to set up and something we could have added a long time ago but never did. That's 1 example of a hundred.

My future content production for SPinvest Currently, I (silverstackeruk) im down to post 8 times a week for SPinvest projects, it's my fault for taking on so much. Right now, im posting 5 times a week. This is a mixture of limited time and finding it hard to think of things to write about. To be honest, it's just not really in me anymore to write huge posts explaining SPI and breaking everything down. I have written these posts in many different ways and im bum out of ideas. I still have my moments when I drop a really good informational post every few months but nothing like the content I used to bang out for the first 12-15 months.

So this is the case and SPinvest is still looking to expand, I'll be mostly posting reports in the future. I have said before, it's a small goal of mine to have 7 tokens under the SPinvest umbrella and this could mean 7 weekly reports. Ideally 3 from Spinvest, 3 from lbi-token and 1 from Eddie-earner. Weekly reports are easy to produce and are good information for investors. Something like the SPI is LBI report takes 60-90 mins to update the spreadsheets and then 30-45 minutes to copy in the charts and write 500-1000 words. Something like cublife or Eddie-earner only take 10-20 mins to updates spreadsheets.

This will all take time to happen as we currently have 4 tokens and need to think (pick) another 2 to release. By the way, 7 is not a cap are anything, if others wanna run projects under SPinvest, no problem. What JK6276 does for SPI could be tokenized easy. He could take 10% of profits as the operator for his time as an incentive. You could say the cap I'll handle is 7, if in 10 years we have 20 projects and I run 7, then SPinvest is 65% decentralized? Think about that :)

One of the best and easiest ways to add true value and make money from a blockchain is to build something on it. No offence to people that think posting a few hundreds of words and 3-4 pictures daily is adding value but this does not really add much value to the blockchain in my POV. If fewer people posted, the ones that did post would get rewarded more, that's all. HIVE would not die, blogging would just become more profitable.

Managing and maintaining funds is not a time issue because most of what we have is passive, with my main activities converting one thing to another. I could spend 30-60 minutes converting, transferring, staking, whatever. I can also be doing some research, reading up on HIVE/LEO stuff, answering comments are watching youtube on the other screen at the same time. General maintenance is almost a background thing so growth in terms of project management is not a worry. As said above, both Eddie-earner and cublife are low maintenance tokens requiring very little time or effort to operate. Both produce good returns. EDS has made around 20k HIVE for SPI, and CL produces 180ish LEO per week for LBI. Add a few more tokens like that onto each and boom, dividends for both tokens increase and users have more investment tokens to invest into.

So to roundup. In saying over the next 6-12 months, my content will be pretty much only weekly reports for different tokens. Adding new projects under SPinvest, not a problem. If I can replace having to spent 2 hours plus thinking of writing a post and replace it with a post I can do in 20-30 mins most days, that gives me much more time to manage funds. Our coder will help to add a few nice things and we'll think of a plan to incentivise people to wanna do something under SPinvest.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post. I hope it gives a rough idea of what will be happening over the next 6-12 months. I set a target of the end of year 2 on HIVE which is pretty much 3 years for SPinvest. That gives roughly 10 months to release 3 good projects, 1 is coming soon and the other 2 will come.

Have a great day
