But to answer your question: Yes. And I think this can be deduced from past days. Nowadays people inform themselves on the internet, mainly with the help of Google's search engine and information always comes (at least this should be) before buying.

So it is only logical that the trend results more or less represent a direct course of the share price and can be used as an indicator.
