As we mentioned a week ago, we are unstaking 100,000 STEM from @stemcuration account.
This account was funded with 500,000 STEM from the team funds. All liquid curation rewards have been burned since the tribe started, but we continued to leave the staked curation rewards as is.
We decided to start unstaking curation rewards earned on this account that were locked up.
Today the first of four 25,000 distributions arrived and as you may have guessed, we burned them!
We will let you know what we decide to do with the remaining STEM being unstaked when the time comes.
When we unstake tokens on @stemcuration we reduce our influence on the reward pool giving your stake more influence.
