Account Growth - Perseverance, Quality, Curation and Delegation!
Morning @leofinance community. I just wanted to write a quick post as a motivation to all of you out there that with perseverance, quality, curation and delegation your account value will experience good solid growth.

Hive Stats is a high quality dApp that has been developed by the LEO team. I use it multiple times through my day to keep track of my progress and to identify aspects of my account that require fine tuning and attention.
The image at the top is this post is from the Analytics tab, it shows my account growth in Hive Power over the last seven days. As you can see from the chart from the 31/3/2021 until 7/4/2021 my account growth in Hive Power has grown from 13,240 HP and currently sits at over 13,400, this is an increase of 160 HP.
You will also notice that my daily rewards in USD have remained steady with a couple positive spikes in upvote value.
I realise that for some people in the community these might sound like very modest gains, but for those of us who are finding our rhythm on HIVE and LeoFinance, these sorts of gains are a major source of motivation and encouragement that the effort you put into your posts and understanding the platform does pay off.
Four key observations I have had over this period, that I want to leave you with are as follows:
- Perseverance - Keep posting! My goal everyday is to write two quality posts. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to keep posting interesting content on a regular basis. I have also found that pacing yourself is important, I often sit down to write my two posts for the day the same time, but I then tend to schedule my posts to go out at least 12 hours apart. In between the 12 hour wait periods, that is when I spend time reading interesting posts, learning about the platform and upvoting the content that I find value and interest in.
- Quality - Quality is key, quantity is not. Quality, quality, quality! Please do not try to post as much content as you can, you will burn yourself out. Take your time, write from the heart, write about your passions, and write about things that the community will find interesting. Check your spelling, grammar and structure your post so that it is easy to read and follow. Once you have written your two posts for the day, then spend your efforts writing quality comments and replies, engage with the community.
- Curation - Getting noticed by a respected curator truly is a great feeling. There have been times when I have checked my latest post and suddenly it has a USD $10 upvote from @ocd, @curangel, @naturalmedicine or one of the other quality-focused curators. Then at times they will even feature my post in own of their weekly feature articles, which gives you even more exposure. What you will then notice is that you start to get a regular following of dedicated upvoters of your posts.
- Delegation - Put your Hive Power to work. While you continue to write quality content on interesting topics, I highly recommend you delegate some of your Hive Power to projects you support and believe in, these might be to Tribes like LeoFinance (@leo.voter), Curation Projects like @hive.curation, @ocd or @curangel or Communities you are passionate about like @ssg-community or @naturalmedicine. There are many great posts that explain how delegation works, so please go search the platform and have a read. In its simplest terms you are staking some of your Hive Power to another account, providing that account with increased power, as return on you investment you will receive a daily payout of your share of the reward that account received. You can undelegate your stake at anytime.
Hopefully this post is helpful and useful to those of you that are still finding your way through the many aspects and opportunities of this wonderful HIVE platform. Stay focus, do not get too distracted by all the flashy lights, put a simple plan together and follow it every single day.
