Before I read the whole article what came to mind was "speculation is part of it, especially when dealing with things of value" and there I was reading it in the rest op the article.

What I also think is that everything that you do in life has risks and what's the use of doing nothing as that also has risks in itself. So what I would say to those people is "do your research and start taking control of your life/finances".
