It actually was always in place. Think about what the traditional broadcast model was built upon. The idea was to get eyeballs to the screen and then monetize them through advertising. The broadcast platform made all the money of course.
The model is still the same online. This time, it is Facebook and Google taking the lion's share.
We are now entering a new era with cryptocurrency. Something like Leofinance can radically alter the way things will unfold over the next decade.
It is the foundation of Web 3.0.
