People need to prove they are dedicated to Hive and whatever tribe they are focusing upon. This means time is needed along with producing content that show the effort is there. If one is trying to bilk rewards, as you mentioned in here, that will not translate into success.

One does not need to be an accomplished author. Just put forth a great deal of effort, be consistent, and try to improve. Over time, that will get one a following that will result in rewards.

Everyone should be thinking long-term, not what is going to have tomorrow or next week.
