Crypthursday: Let's talk crypto and cocktails!
This is my second Crypthursday which is an experiment where I'll try to talk about my view on some of the things that happened in the last 7 days. If you want to know the full story, check the Crypthursdays announcement post.
Also, since the week is coming to an end, I'll always end this post with a recipe for a cocktail, which I'll be enjoying tomorrow while I interact with people in the Leo Market Talk (@leomarkettalk). Feel free to make the same cocktail (or another one that you prefer) and join us tomorrow!
Another rather slow week
Things have been rather slow again with prices still down, showing once again the correlation between the market and activity. Despite a little bit of that doom and gloom going around we did have some action going on. Let's check some of it.

Polygold rug-pull
Polygold is a De-Fi platform building on the Matic blockchain. Matic has been a very hot-topic lately on the community and ofcourse there are many projects being built on it. I didn't get in Polygold myself, but it looked like a popular one up until earlier this week when the main dev apparently shut down the whole operation. I've heard he ran with around 400k USD, but don't quote me on that.
There are many De-Fi projects coming out everyday and it's not always easy to tell the legit ones from scams. Some people are ok hoping from project to project trying to benefit from the high APR provided during the early days, but it's important to be very aware of the risk invovled.
Personally, I prefer to avoid risk because it helps me with my peace of mind and that's why I'm sticking with CubFinance, at least for now. And speaking of Cub...
Kingdoms are live!
I don't know about you, but I've been waiting for this for a while now. I really think it's gonna be a game changer in the De-Fi game. You can check the details on things like the Autocompouding feature and other stuff on the official announcement.
Pick of the week
My pick of the week was a very well written article by @selfhelp4trolls, where he explores the role of Hive users that currently live in economically struggling 3rd world countries. I live in Brazil, which is not in the same situation as Venezuela, for example, but still struggling. Check out his wonderful article here:

Cocktail friday - G&T
Tomorrow I'll be making another very classic and very simple cocktail: the Gin and Tonic!
What I like about this drink is that you can be real creative with it. The core ingredients are very simple. You'll need:
- Two ounces gin
- Four ounces tonic water
You basically want to add gin to a glass with ice and top it off with the tonic water. From there, you can use your creativity: you can just call it a day and drink it as it is, you can add a few lemon slices, you can infuse it with some tea, you can add some spices such as cinammon and juniper. Go to town!
