What's up investor friends?

A few days ago we were analyzing the EUR/USD pair and found it in a clear bearish trend in the short term. It managed to overcome the strong support of 1.1800 to the downside, as well as 1.1760. However, the pair has bounced strongly near the 1.1700 support.

Since March 30, the price has managed to recover to above 1.1800 today. This recovery of the Euro may be due to the news about the third wave of covid, which will hit the dollar hard.

However, this should be considered only a short-term bounce, as the EUR/USD trend remains bearish in the medium term.

If the bulls remain in control for the time being, the next target will be to break above the resistance at 1.1840 and hold above it.

For a change in the medium-term trend, the bulls would have to reach the 1.2000 ceiling and break above it. Only then could we see a different path for the EUR/USD in the near future.

1-day candles

If this scenario does not happen, we could see a bearish continuation of the EUR/USD up to the 1.1700 support. If this support is broken, we could see a further fall to 1.1600 and 1.1500, and this would be practically the most important support for the EUR/USD to remain in a long-term uptrend.

Personal opinion

I will wait for a breakout to the upside above 1.1840 and price support to buy with targets at 1.1990. In case we do not break 1.1840 and see signs of weakness in the bulls, I would sell with targets at 1.1700 and 1.1600. We must wait for the price action and candlestick patterns, as well as the volume can give us good information as we approach 1.1840.

Hace días estuvimos analizando el par EUR/USD y lo encontrábamos en una tendencia bajista clara en el corto plazo. Logró superar el fuerte soporte de 1.1800 a la baja, así como también los 1.1760. Sin embargo el par a rebotado fuertemente cerca del soporte 1.1700.

El precio desde el 30 de marzo, ha logrado recuperarse hasta posicionarse por encima de los 1.1800 el día de hoy. Esta recuperación del Euro puede deberse a las noticias sobre la tercera ola del covid, la cual le de un golpe duro al dólar.

Sin embargo, esto deberíamos considerarlo solo un rebote en el corto plazo, ya que la tendencia del EUR/USD sigue siendo bajista en el mediano plazo.

Si los alcistas mantienen el control por el momento, el siguiente objetivo será superar la resistencia en 1.1840 y mantenerse por encima de ella.

Para un cambio en la tendencia a mediano plazo, los alcistas tendrían que llegar a al techo de 1.2000 y superarlo. Solo así podríamos ver un camino diferente para el EUR/USD en el futuro próximo.

Velas de 1 día

En caso de no suceder este escenario, podríamos ver una continuidad bajista del EUR/USD hasta el soporte de 1.1700. Si se llegará a romper este soporte, podríamos ver una caída mayor hasta los 1.1600 y 1.1500, y este sería prácticamente el soporte mas importante para que el EUR/USD se mantenga en una tendencia alcista a largo plazo.

Opinión personal

Esperaré un rompimiento al alza por encima de 1.1840 y mantenencia del precio para comprar con objetivos en 1.1990. En caso de no romper 1.1840 y ver signos de debilidad en los alcistas, vendería con objetivos en 1.1700 y 1.1600. Debemos esperar la acción en el precio y los patrones en las velas, así como también el volumen nos puede dar buena información al acercarnos a 1.1840.
