My LeoFinance Engagement Rate Increases: Top 5 Authors By Comments Achieved

Hello there, I feel so excited today despite the market downtrend. Someone might be thinking I won a lottery but it's far from that. One of my goals this year 2021 is to improve on my activities in the LeoFinance community and on Hive blog at large. That reminds me, I should publish my Hive goals for the year.

I noticed that I slacked a whole lot in the previous years so, I purposed in my heart to make a change that'll improve my earnings and as well contribute to the community's growth. Looking at my overall comments on Hive days back, I wasn't impressed. @hivebuzz showed that I have made 2500+ comments only. All of these have made me channel all my energy to making more comments and contributions on other authors posts. I've come to realize the importance of engaging.

Waking up this morning to the latest post by @leo.stats, I felt really really excited. It gladdens me that I'm working towards achieving my set goals. Although it is tasking and time-taking, it is worth the stress. I hope to be consistent at it.

Top 10 Authors By Comments

For the first time ever, I made it to the list of the top 10 authors by comments in the LeoFinance community. Yes, this is why I'm excited. It might mean nothing to a lot of us but it means a lot to me. It means I am making some good progress. The week in view is January 17 - January 23 2022.

In this week, a total of 4000 comments were made in the LeoFinance community via the LeoFinance.io front-end. Out of these number of comments, I was able to make 128 comments which placed me at the top 5 position. That's a small number compared to what @taskmaster4450le and the other top 4 have reached. However, it's a big win for me and I hope to keep improving on the numbers.

The Need For Engagements

It is important that as authors in the community, we also focus on increasing our engagements as it has many benefits both to us as individuals and to the community at large. Quality engagements is a great way of showing your support as it has an effect on the overall rating of the community.

Equally, through engagements, a user can get to be recognized in the community. Being recognized and known could affect your earnings positively too. Also, you get to build your network of friends, learn, interact and share your knowledge as well.

Yes, we all long for $LEO to appreciate in its dollar price but sometimes, some persons forget that there's a role to play. One of such roles is being active in the community. In a short while, I have seen the positive impacts of being a more active member in the community and I look forward to engaging the more. Engagement is a key component of your growing in this space as nothing operates in a vacuum here.
