My Splinterlands Portfolio Moving Nicely

Hi Everyone,

What a great start to the month for crypto land in 2021. We have been seeing some great gains on many projects with BTC heading to 40k at the time of writing. A month have past and I want to touch base to see how I am going with my Splinterlands investment. This excludes the land which I have already used DEC to pay off and is purely on the cards I own at the moment. I've been a huge fan of the game since it has come out so it is not surprising I am keeping an eye on my Splinterlands portfolio/ investment. Keeping in mind, I am not just spending money, I am also spending time which is a huge investment in the grand scheme of things.

This month, the calculation given my cards are a total of $2863 a the time of writing. Up $400 around a month ago when I last checked. Do keep in mind that all crypto has been up so in some way I was expecting my portfolio will also increase with the rest of the market. I didn't get many cards this month but I did open up 20 packs or so from the raffle from the land purchase but unfortunately I didn't get many exceptional cards to boost my deck.

The coming month I am expecting to purchase less cards purely I want to see how much I can save and move up the ranks. Just an experiment but I may not be able to stop myself from getting a few new cards here and there to upgrade. I did combine a few cards this month to increase the power on some monsters and will use this month to try it out and see how I go. So far, my Splinterlands portfolio is going up nicely and if crypto continues to go up, I am expecting my total value next month to increase. Fingers crossed!
