It's one of those days again! One of the days that I receive my regular dose of...

Silver!

Let's take a closer look on what I got this time!

First we have what collectors in my place call "ζευγάρι", for couple in English:

20 and 10 dracmai from 1930. Featuring Poseidon, the Greek God of the sea, storms, earthquakes and horses and Dimitra, the Greek Goddess of the harvest and agriculture and the fertility of the earth.

Not surprisingly, the Poseidon coin features on the back a Greek trireme, a type of ship used by the ancient Greeks for travel, trade and war. As for the 10 dracmai coin, we have a wheat flower or some shit.

The 10 dracmai weights 7 g while the 20 dracmai 11.31 g, both from 0.500 silver. Not really high but imo both they are really beautiful coins! I already have a couple of them, it's nice to have more for my collection :)

Next we have two coins you have seen many times in my posts. They had a relatively high circulation so they have become my favorite for stacking silver as they occasionally pop up for super cheap prices close to spot:

Two, 20 dracmai from 1960. On the front they have King Paul of Greece and on the back Selene, the moon goddess riding a horse. There are also some waves and a dolphin if you take a closer look, as she supposedly rose with her moon chariot from the sea or something. Can't remember the mytholodogy exactly and am too lazy to check now 😂

In ancient Greek mythology and religion, Selene is the goddess and the personification of the Moon. Also known as Mene, she is traditionally the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia, and sister of the sun god Helios and the dawn goddess Eos. She drives her moon chariot across the heavens. source

Each one of these babes weights 7.5 g of 0.835 silver. The rest is copper.

And that concludes today's unboxing! Hope you enjoyed it, I know I did 😂

Stack on frens!
