Mailman visit!
Got another mail today....And by now you probably know what that means! It's sweet sweet silver time ๐ค...Well, maybe sweet is not the best word to describe it this time ๐
Anyways, let's open the fucker up;
Well... These coins feel definitely weird to hold ๐ They are literally Nazi !
But their price was too hard to resist (spot price + a tiny premium) so fuck it. Silver is silver. And like all coins, they are a piece of history. And history isn't always nice.
I am keeping one for my collection and have already put the other two for sale on Facebook, for almost double the price of what I got them. We have lots of Nazi buffoons in my country so I have a feeling I will sell them quite fast and pocket a nice profit!
In case you wonder, these coins were minted from 1936 to 1939 and are the highest purity standard circulation coins I have ever encountered.
Each weights 13.88 g and is made of 0.900 silver, which translates to roughly 12.5 g of silver, which is worth about 7.5 $ per coin. That's some serious silver there! Clearly, Nazis were dicks but they did make good coins !
Chances are you are familiar with the swastika eagle...as for the old dude with the mustache he is Paul von Hindenburg, here's a link to wikipedia if you want to know more about him.
Now all I need is to score some silver commie coins ! I do have some prior to the revolution but not any with Stalin or with the Hammer and the sickle!
