Project Blank Gamification - A Great Incentive to Grow LEO Power

Project Blank otherwise known as LeoThreads is a decentralized microblogging application built on Hive blockchain with web3 edging features including decentralized polls, crypto wallet, NFT integrations, DeFi and more. The dapp which is in its alpha stage of development and would be deployed to full production on May 1, at https://leofinance.io/ with a $10,000 launch campaign for all participants.

Meanwhile, the Leo team and devs are working overtime to get other superb features such as LeoInfra Hive Lite accounts, Ads iteration and other major polishing to make the dapp ready for the May 1 mega launch. Updates are released nearly everyday and today's update mentioned plans for gamification on Project Blank which would place a demand on a user's Leo Power.

Gamification of Curation Feed Display

The next iteration of this feature will introduce a LEO POWER threshold. For example, if you hold more than 5,000 LEO POWER, you can link drop in the main feeds (when the user has it toggled on). We may also introduce some settings later on to "whitelist" certain accounts who you want to see links from.

This is just an amazing use case that has been added to LEO Power. Before now, holding LEO power was just to curate #leofinance posts and earn curation rewards. This, I believe has been the cause of the dwindling price of the $LEO token as many users just earn the LEO from author and/or curation rewards and sell them out. Now the case is different.

Ranking users' posts based on their Leo power held would help trend contents from users who are investing long term into the LeoFinance ecosystem. This would make every user want to build his/her Leo power to have his/her content trending for more visibility and likely more rewards.

Gamification of Poll Voting

It's truly incredible and this is just V1 of an amazing set of features that we plan to roll out including Stake-Weighted Voting settings, NFT voting and more!

Another powerful gamification plan for Project Blank is the Stake-Weighted Voting and NFT voting. This feature would provide for votes on polls to be counted based on a user's Leo Power count. presently, poll voting on LeoFinance is 1 vote per account not minding the amount of LEO staked.

NFT voting on the other hand would consider the social roles and NFT icon of a user in vote counting. These iteration would make a user's voice in decision making within the Leoverse to be dependent on the user's commitment to building the community with Leo power.

As of now, the available social roles with their qualifying Leo Power are as follows:

  • Newborn Cub: 2k+ LEO POWER
  • Cub: 5k+ LEO POWER
  • Lion: 15k+ LEO POWER
  • Leader of the Pack: 50k+ LEO POWER
  • Apex Lion: 150k+ LEO POWER

I can understand the pride a user has when his commitments within the community is well recognized and marked as appropriate. Such is what the Leo social role does. Leveraging on those roles and their corresponding NFT badges would go a long way to encourage users to grow along the social role ladder.

Gamification on Project Blank utilizing LEO Power would incentivize the long term staking of the $LEO token and this indicates the moon season of $LEO is fast approaching.

LPUD Further Incentivizes LEO staking

Every single activities of users on Project Blank are heavily rewarded. Staking LEO itself has rewards via the Leo power Up Day (LPUD) campaign with about $8k worth of prize pool. Every month on the 15th day, users who stake at least 150 LEO are fixed in a draw to win the prizes. Additionally, NFT badges are also given from @hivebuzz and the utility of those badges is fast approaching.

It is obvious that the sustainable days for the LeoFinance community has unveiled and this means a lot for the LEO token and its investors. A price flip is possible in he sooniverse.
