Thanks Botefarm for all you do for SPORTS and the supports so far. Thanks for also taking time to air your views on the present 50% tax cut on non-native sportstalk posts. While I understand you totally, yet, I have my reservations on your positions in this post.

By now, Sportstalk should have had more than two DAPPS built on it, either gaming, betting or Sports prediction, enough use cases to bring about the buying of Sports and more reason for people to hold Sports because they know the values.

With Proposals system now up, we should not be blaming anyone for dapp development on SPORTS. Everyone now has the opportunity top build something. I have and you have. let's reach out to the developers we know and get creative, set-up a proposal and if it looks great, then, community will support and it gets funded. I think @Patrickulrich has done noble to have this going.

When it comes to burning, a 10% of reward sent to null across all post made with the Sportstalk tag should be good enough. At a flat rate, either posting from native or non-native.

I totally disagree with this. How would we have to burn 10% of all posts including native posts. What then would be the incentive to post on sportstalk and grow SEO for the community. I would out-rightly say that I personally earn much of my SPORTS from posts earned from LeoFinance end which is my main account. But I can;'t help as much as I know that burning tokens would be to the good of SPORTS in the long run.

Even if it's a must to send user's reward to Null, it's still okay at 10% for non-native Sports posts reward to be Sent To Null.

I'll agree that we could set another proposal to review the 50% tax and maybe reduce it to 30%. For me, 10% is really out of scope. We must understand that the printing rate and supply of SPORTS is different from that of LEO and STEM, their supply and printing rate is quite low compared to SPORTS. Setting a 10% tax is as good as doing nothing.

I'll vote for a 30% tax if the present doesn't pass.

Depriving users of there reward because they refuse to use your Interface is a narcissist way of forcing users to bend to your rule.

50% tax doesn't deprive anyone of rewards, it's only reducing the rewards for not posting on the SPORTSTALK UI by half of what the user would have gotten. Remember also that earning SPORTS for a typical Actifit post is a "bonus".

You're also depriving them of the reward from there post totally. That's not funny at all. Not forgetting that back in the days the @actifit you're all fighting against bought some Sports to reward her actifiters.

Actifiters (including myself) are not deprived of rewards. If I may ask, do you receive AFIT rewards for posting on Sportstalk with #actifit tag? No is the answer. It's not a fight against actifit, The STS community is just trying to create more incentives for other users to also use their frontend. It's not a war against Actifit.

I also create actifit posts and earn some decent SPORTS from them, but then, it's just a bonus to add to my AFIT rewards.

Let's be able to face the realities of the issues constructively. 50% tax looks high, we can review it to 30% or so but 10% is too low for a token like SPORTS.

I am a top buyer when it comes to SPORTS and I can tell which accounts do dump their SPORTS on me. I track them and have the records. It consists mostly of those who earn SPORTS as a bonus. They neither stake the token, only dump after payout. We all have the liberty to do what we like with our tokens earned and the community also has the liberty to tell who earns more of the tokens or not as an incentive to encourage users to use their front end.

We should be happy to see SPORTS go the present direction in price and development. Let's join hands to make it better. Collaboration with other communities is good but should not be at the detriment of the home community. Let's put things in their right perspectives, SPORTS can grow again. When SPORTS scales to new heights, we'll have more new collaborations. LeoFinance had no collaboration until it came to the limelight.

Let's reach out to the typical sports content writers, and have this place populated.

One Love!

Let's build this community together, we've stayed together during those low tide times.
