I missed out on the Punk NFT sales over the weekend. I could lie and say I didn't know about it but who am I kidding, I did. On Saturday, when I and Ebingo hung out, he told me about the Punk NFT Belemo's wife had gotten and how cool it was. While we were talking, he was on the site trying to mint one for himself but it wasn't working. I didn't ask questions. I just nodded and changed the topic because I didn't think it was a thing that would end so quickly. I like to take my time when it involves sending funds to places. There really shouldn't be any hurry.

Well, after that, my friend Moquero kept mentioning it in conversation and that's when I asked for more details. I decided right after that I would get some but not immediately. What's the rush with these things anyway? I like to gather and then diversify. It gives me space, especially if I don't have the funds available.

Oh well, I missed the sale. I kinda feel bad about it but I'll move on. I'm still gathering my Voucher decimals to pick up my Chaos league pack. Thanks to the trick I learned from Belemo, I might be able to buy 2 packs with my last Voucher coming in a few days.

Always Missing Opportunities

I have a short attention span. I hardly seem like it because I wear a straight face and always find a way to keep up after a while, but I zone out quickly. It's one of the inherited family traits I dislike. Both my parents have the same issue but to different degrees.

I learnt from my mother to always do things immediately, thanks to our short attention span. So, the moment I see something I would like to invest in and I don't do it immediately, I forget and I move on to other things. I have to make a conscious effort to remember and always replay details in my mind. It makes me a terrible multi-tasker because I always have a lot on my mind.

I save a lot of information on my WhatsApp notepad but then who remembers to check their notepad so often? not me. I could form a habit but then even my habits don't last. I get bored easily.

The fact that I know the solution to my problem is why I've been able to achieve even a little success in the things I do. My mind is always replaying details, so while I might forget what's going on right in front of me, I'll remember what happened 2 weeks ago. It comes in handy during arguments.

I'll be putting in a little more work to make sure I don't miss out on more sweet deals like the Punk NFT sales. I hate feeling like I just cheated myself. *
