Hive is a sea of information, while communities like LEO Finance brings focus on that and allows us to transform the information into knowledge. Spreading too wide is one mistake we've all made and when we've switched to specialized content we found out that we can really grow and we can put what we read into practice and make an advantage out of it. The digital society we are living in bombs us with such an amount of information that we are overwhelmed and end up taking no action as the amount of choices is too much for us to process.

Being a prolific reader can put us in the first lines when an opportunity presents itself, regarding of the domain. To take an example from one of the smartest people in the world and a business partner of Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger gives us a taste of his own doing on this and something that we can all put into practice.

“In my whole life, I have known no wise people (over a broad subject matter area) who didn’t read all the time—none. Zero” – Charlie Munger

The routine of reading gives us an advantage over those that skip it as it brings domain knowledge to us instead of needing to find out for ourselves. And what better domain than on LEO Finance where cryptocurrencies, stocks, businesses and income methods are intertwining and brought together but the community members. We educate ourselves, we learn from the experiences, mistakes and good practices of others and we have the chance to replicate successful stories, come up with new revenue streams or just do things better.

The mind will expand, you will make new connections and be able to see new opportunities from trivial discussions and simply step out of the common things. The cognitive intelligence will improve faster from reading and you will learn and imagine new things each and every day out of a daily routine of reading. You end up trying to put into practice the knowledge your learn or read about and this keeps you focused and motivated to keep doing so.

You need to be an active reader and not let it pass around you and to achieve this you can ask few questions to activate your intelligence and evaluate the processed information. Some examples in this regard would be:

  • Question: Did I understood this information or do I need to ask more and read more? Answer: Engage more through comments to get answers, search other content on the subject.
  • Question: Does this information applies to me and do I have the means to achieve it? Answer: In case we don't have the financial meaning to achieve that we can put a target to do so or if it is too risky or to much, we can start at a smaller scale.
  • Question: Is this information useful to me in any way and can I extract anything out of it? Answer: The information needs to serve a purpose or touch a feeling and we can find it useful from this perspective and use it one way or the other, simply motivational if not practical.

This will transform our reading into active learning and will let us make the most out of it. We all have different values and goals we adhere to and we can find that specific information that we are interested in just through reading. Just imagine moments that you've skipped due to that and that you felt bad afterwards as you didn't take action. Make a practice out of a routing reading on LEO Finance and use what the members shared here as something that will help you grow financially, socially, personally or in any other way you feel you are synching with the community!
