The last 2 years donating to @gtpjfoodbank paid off when there are 2 platforms for me to enjoy. But since I haven't really used Steem social site for a long time and I had some amount of Steem Back Dollars lying around, I accepted @littlenewthing's suggestion to further help her to build her "income portfolio" with some of my dollars exchanged from donation to Food Bank into HIVE Power to keep the HIVE platform going.

Althought that sounds easy, I am a n00b about this besides donating to the Food Bank and occasionally write here, I totally didn't know what is going on but being the nerdy @littlenewthings, I let her run the show.

All I needed to do was to give my $15 SBD worth to her, even though she explained that this is a long term thing and not a quick sell unless she buys off my share.

Thanks for trying to explain to me how it worked dear girl!

So this is what I can understand

@littlenewthings found a token worth purchasing to test long term dividend and I shipped in my share to help her test it out because she was short of $18 to buy one after all the conversions from exchanges took place.

It looks like a pretty good idea, because this token she was mentioning is tied to a real property. Of course she couldn't get the whole property so she could only get 1 token to test.

Knowing her personally for almost 7 years, I think it's worth a shot since we keep in contact weekly.

We waited for white a bit for the crowd-sale to complete and apparently with legal documents need to be signed, where she is the custodian for the token we chipped in.

She was a bit worried that it wouldn't work out.

But lo an behold this morning I got notifications and checked out...

Oh! She got it! And I think it worked!

It is a bit pathetic with so little Hive power, but she mentioned based on rentals-maintenance, the first release will be a lot lesser.

So let's see if we can get more out of this or not the coming weeks.

Worse come to worse when she earns enough I can make her buy off my share. 😉

Or she owes me a beer next round.

Correct, @littlenewthings?
