A very active friend in the crypto world who has been working for a long time on his own project called me on the phone to tell me something new, he was exultant and excited, so much so that at first I couldn't understand what he was telling me.

After telling him to calm down and start over, I understood what he was saying: he was participating in an event for the anniversary of the protocol “The Graph” and he came face to face with Vitalik Buterin, one of the creators of Etherum.

My friend Leonardo could not believe it, he or many of those who were participating in the conference. The genius programmer was there, he arrived without big announcements, without custody, and going completely unnoticed. From that moment on, social networks exploded with photos, videos and he could be seen answering questions and even relaxing in a game of Ping-Pong or table tennis as they call it in some countries.

Once discovered, he could no longer avoid invitations and even traveled to the province of Buenos Aires where he met former president Mauricio Macri, with whom he talked about cryptocurrencies and their potential for governments.

As it became known, he was visiting some Latin American countries and came to Argentina to participate in the aforementioned event, but also to closely observe how a country with so much annual inflation performs.

The shy and withdrawn young man, perhaps self-conscious about being discriminated against in his childhood due to his enormous facility for mathematics and programming is already part of history, we do not know how long he will stay around here, but I hope he feels comfortable and maybe find some way to help countries like ours, where it is quite difficult to live with inflation and economic difficulties.

I know that he is a genius, but not exactly one of those who grant wishes after rubbing a lamp, but he also lives by illusion.

Un amigo muy activo en el mundo cripto que está trabajando desde hace tiempo en un proyecto propio me llamó por teléfono para contarme una novedad, estaba exultante y excitado, tanto que en un primer momento no podía entender lo que me estaba contando.

Luego de decirle que se calmara y comenzara de nuevo, entendí lo que me decía: estaba participando de un evento por el aniversario del protocolo “The Graph” y se encontró cara a cara con Vitalik Buterin, uno de los creadores de Etherum.

Mi amigo Leonardo no lo podía creer, él ni muchos de los que estaban participando de la conferencia. El genio programador estaba allí, llegó sin grandes anuncios, sin custodia y pasando totalmente desapercibido. A partir de ese momento las redes sociales explotaron de fotos, videos y se lo pudo ver contestando preguntas y hasta relajándose en un juego de Ping-Pong o tenis de mesa como le llaman en algunos países.

Una vez descubierto ya no pudo evitar invitaciones y hasta viajó a la provincia de Buenos Aires donde se encontró con el ex presidente Mauricio Macri, con quien conversó sobre criptomonedas y su potencial para los gobiernos.

Según se supo, estuvo visitando algunos países de Latinoamérica y llego a la Argentina para participar del mencionado evento, pero también para observar de cerca como se desempeña un país con tanta inflación anual.

El joven tímido y retraído, quizás acomplejado por ser discriminado en su infancia por su enorme facilidad para las matemáticas y la programación ya es parte de la historia, no sabemos cuanto se quedará por aquí, pero espero que se sienta cómodo y quizás encuentre alguna manera de ayudar a países como el nuestro, donde es bastante difícil convivir con la inflación y las dificultades económicas.

Ya se que es un genio, pero no precisamente de los que otorgan deseos luego de frotar una lámpara, pero de ilusión también se vive.
