Oh yeah banks are already working on CBDCs and we'll probably see a rise in the number of these currencies. I don't think crypto will be made illegal though, there's money to be made from them by the governments by attributing Capital Gains Tax to them and classing them as assets. I wrote about the change in attitude towards crypto from the UK HMRC and they are going to want a piece of the pie by taxing earnings on it so by making it illegal, they'll lose that potential money pot. We'll see I guess!

I've never known steem above $1 really and bought it when it was at its lowest (about 10p) and sold at a higher price so feel for those who got burned, we all did at some point in crypto! Same with everything though, don't invest more than you can afford to lose!
