Yeah that HIVE/STEEM split helped a lot of users out with their crypto portfolios! You joined Steem about a year before me then. I've not really earned so much from posting alone, think I have nearly ~$1000 in author rewards from March 2018 so not liveable by any stretch of the imagination but I'm having fun and like you say, I'm not too enamoured with Facebook or Twitter so have enjoyed my time here and will continue to stay around!

Hopefully our fortunes will change hey!
