Thanks for checking it out mate, I was remembering stuff from even further back before the timeline of Xmas 2017 and first heard of BTC around 2012 when an ex banker turned up as a temp worker next to me when I was also temping. He started talking about it and my head exploded when I was trying to understand it but had no idea how to buy any - he never showed me - and then the main story starts at the beginning of the original post! The bear market is a strong education! Less than 3 years feels like 30 haha!

I'll check your crypto story post out as well but if you want to know things, just ask, I'll try to help where I can!

Well that £50 is only a one off purchase and over time you'll be accruing more than £100 worth of BTC I imagine so I wouldn't rule it out completely. It won't earn any interest in a ledger sure but I am keeping a minimum amount that I want to have in the ledger now I reached my target, the rest I'm now moving towards CeFi options like Celsius and Luno that I post about regularly which basically earns interest for holding it there, rather like having a bank account but with actual interest, not the shit deal of next to 0% we're getting atm! (Not financial advice of course) - If you don't have an account then let me know, have a couple of referral links that will give you a bonus as well!

I'm not too familiar with the hot wallets you mentioned, I think @chekohler dabbles a bit more in those and will be able to help as I've seen him mention those two. There are plenty of options depending on how adventurous you can be... also keeping on top of all those options once you start putting money in adds another layer of things to remember!
