Wow, what an amazing story! Oh to wind back the clock to a time when we could mine BTC on GPU! The things we know now...

I wish I had a friend like yours who'd relentlessly talk about it. My story does go back further to about 2012 when I first heard of BTC from an ex banker who ended up at the same temp job company as I did. He mentioned it, told me about it but it was a once off and when I tried to find stuff online, I was hit with confusing technical things that bamboozled me so I let it pass until hearing about it again where the story picks up in my original post. Probably an element of FOMOing in but the bear market was a great teacher!

Glad you made the most out of the steem/hive situation too! Seems that helped our portfolios out in a good way. I still kept my Hive just because I was committed to getting to Orca and now have some targets I want to reach by the end of the year with LEO.

Other than that, like you, hodling BTC and seeing if I can make it work for me with some of those cefi apps. How times have changed since we got involved hey?
