I was a reading a post by one of my favorite authors here on Leofinance, he is @acesontop. I love reading his blog because, most times I can relate to his post. So yesterday, he talked aboutWhen Sunday Feels Like Any Other Weekday You Know You Made it In Crypto. Honestly, I could relate because that’s literally my life right now. Although I haven’t made it big in crypto yet, but am one day and one step closer to achieving my crypto dream and goals. I’m a crypto blogger and crypto trader and like @josediccus profile description, I think it’s time I considered myself a cryptopreneur.

The beauty of being a cryptopreneur is that, you don’t work for anybody but yourself. Just like everyday feels like Sunday so do they feel like Monday. These days I don’t keep track of the days of the week because everyday is just a regular day for me. I forgot yesterday was Sunday and as usual in Nigerian and other places in the world, sunday’s are for going to church.

While you might feel like everyday is a Holiday for you because you don’t answer to anybody, don’t forget that it’s still not as easy as you think because when you don’t trade or make money from the market, the bills will choke you. I wake up everyday with the mindset of “Nobody owes me anything, if I don’t try to get the money today, I can’t afford to feed tomorrow”. This way it keeps me on my toes, so I don’t get lazy and carried away with the amount of freedom I have. Freedom they said comes with responsibility, you are free to do whatever you like but be ready to take responsibilities for your actions.

Blogging and reading stuff on Hive has helped me stay more focus in chasing my goal and also helped me in life. In as much as people find blogging on Hive to be stressful and strenuous, I find it to be therapeutic. Our minds are constantly buried in thoughts, why hoard them, when you can share them here on Hive and interact with people. This alone keeps me on my toes.

Talking about being a cryptopreneur, it’s funny how people who are not really into crypto call you and start asking you for financial advise. I get funny questions like, “which coin can I buy and within a month I get double my money”. That’s so funny because what do you actually see crypto as? A magically money doubling platform? While this is so possible at the same time it’s unpredictable, just the same way you are expecting your money to get doubled, your money can also get halved and there is nothing you can do. Because the market doesn’t care about your feeling, the market is going to do what it wants to do.

The Bear seasons is one of the dark days for crypto traders but the future traders see an opportunity during those days. I don’t do future trading but staying calm is all I got. That’s the reason I will always recommend staking because staking can help a lot during bear seasons, especially when you are living off the blockchain. You spend from your stake rewards to wait for bull run so you can take your profit.

Taking profit during the bull run is essential but my problem is knowing when to leave. Some times I do DCA(Dollar Cost Averaging) during the bull run so I don’t exit to early.

In all of this, am entirely grateful for crypto and its opportunities, because the rewards that come with crypto is enough to give you a decent lifestyle.
