Even for those of us who live in places with much higher costs of living, this still is a very nice "savings account!"

It is a bit longer process in the high cost areas but the premise is still the same. Like you said, it took for years for the vision to start taking hold. It might take a few more to expand the idea to the higher cost areas through the network effect.
