On the road to 60'000 Hive Power
My target for 2023 is to reach 60'000 Hive Power by the end of the year. I also want to reach 16'000 HBD in the same time period. At the beginning of each month, I check my progress to see whether I'm on the good path.
1000 Hive powered up
On the first of each month, I try to power up as much Hive as possible. I was very happy to be able to power up 1000 Hive today, the same amount that I managed to power up in January, February and March.
Better output in March
In February, I was quite disappointed having only created 9 posts. It was a bit better in March with 12 posts. With 3 posts per week, I'm quite happy.
Because of rather low Hive prices in March, I managed only to grow by 271 HBD this month. About 178 HBD coming from interests on the savings account, this means that I earned less than 100 HBD from post rewards. On the other hand, I managed to grow by 520 HP for author and curation reward. This is 50 more than last month.
Slightly behind track
When I look at my goals, so far 24.65 percent of the year have passed between the day I set the goals and the end of the year. This means that I should have grown my stakes by this same percentage to be on the right track.

I'm at the moment at 23.36% of Hive Power and 20.08% of HBD. I'm therefore slightly behind track but my goals seem still reachable. I believe that reaching my HBD goals will depend greatly on the value of Hive. With higher value, I will get more HBD from author rewards. So I need to write enough posts to get there.
Change of strategy is paying off
Last month, I decided to reduce the number of my active splinterlands accounts from 3 to 2. This allowed me to reduce my time playing the game. I also finally managed to go back to champions with my main account. I sold some cards and improved my main decks. Overall, I have the feeling that I have more time for other things now. It was a good decision.
