Travel the World of Postage Stamps - European Mushrooms - Marone (Xerocomus badius) - Germany, Democratic Republic or DDR 1980 - Michel DDR 2554 - my hobby.
Greetings friends!
Looking at the series European Mushrooms of postage stamps, issued in 1980 in the DDR, I understand that I, even without knowing the German language, could survive in East Germany, being unemployed, lol.
Each postage stamp shows me familiar mushrooms that I often collected and we prepared different dishes from them.
On the next postage stamp with a face value of 20 Pf. - East German pfennig, we see Marone (Xerocomus badius), or, as it is also called - Polish mushroom.
This mushroom loves pine and spruce forests, smoldering needles, mosses, moist soil, this is what gives rise to huge colonies of these mushrooms.
Once, in a small forest in the north of the Rivne region, Ukraine, I was able to fill the trunk of a car in a couple of hours with these mushrooms.
These reserves were enough for a year, considering that we fried, frozen, marinated and dried some part.
It's a great meat substitute, but I don't mind having both meat and mushrooms).
I don't really like talking about vitamins, fats, proteins and the amount of calories, for me, the main requirement: tasty and not tasty, lol.
I can confidently say that the mushroom depicted on this postage stamp is delicious!
Let's take a look at this postage stamp.
