500 LEO POWER STRONK!
Hell Yeah!
My first milestone on LEO is achieved. YES, you can congratulate me in the comments. ;) Yesterday I made a post about how I won 500 HIVE by winning a giveaway contest organized by @nathanmars. I used the coins to invest in multiple Hive Engine tokens and obviously one of them is my favorite - LEO. I bought 100 LEOs off the market and that helped me reach 490 LP. The last 10 LEOs were very easy to gather since I had some pending author rewards. I just had to wait for a day and then BOOM! I hit it.
In fact, my effective LEO Power is 550 thanks to the 50 LP delegation I got from @rob23 yesterday. Thank you so much buddy. It really helps since my VP is too low right now.
Is It Enough?
No, it's not. To have a decent influence on the platform, I feel you need to have at least 5000 LP which is my next target after I hit 1000 LP. That's a personal opinion but with 5000 LP, people are going to notice your vote. I will be able to properly incentivize the people who engage with my posts. They deserve more imo. Right now I can barely give them 0.05 or 0.06 LEO max with my 100% vote.
My VP is drained to 48% as I have been getting so many comments recently but I have very little LP to reward everyone. So I end up using 100% of my VP almost all the time.
My Leo Power Goal Of The Year
I have been posting every day since I have an incentive to be supported by @cflclosers and probably @onealfa.leo if my stars align. 😁 I won a curation contest organized by @cflclosers and honestly, this opportunity came in at the right time. I would like to thank both of these guys for it although I will be making a separate post about it once the week is over. Because I was anyway thinking to post daily for a week or so. Just to test out the waters and see if it could work out for me. I will be honest with you, it's the best thing you can do here. Show up every day and hustle. Because it pays off in the end. My follower count has risen, I am getting more comments on my posts recently. Engaging with a lot of people & making more connections. My rewards are growing and finally, people are recognizing my work.
Yesterday, I noticed @jfang003 sharing my post on @leomarkettalk's daily thread, an engagement initiative by @taskmaster4450le, where everyone shared their positive opinions about my content. Do you know why it means a big deal to me? People topping the LEO Engagement weekly chart were discussing my content & how it can potentially help the platform. Thank you so much guys, once again, for the kind words. This event combined with all the things that happened to me in the past week, it made me think about my 'LEO POWER' goal of the year 2021.
10K LP STRONK
Yepp, that's the number I decided. As of today, there are 258 days left in the year. So on an average, I will have to stake approx. 37 LEOs daily (9500/258) for the rest of the year. It's quite tough since I will not be posting every day but when I am not posting, I will still be making comments, taking part in contests, shilling on Twitter, and do stuff that comes my way on LEO & HIVE. In December, I will revisit my position and see how much I am lagging behind and add my own money to hit the goal if it's not too much. I am also buying LEO every now and then to boost my power. I am worried that the price of LEO will cross the $3 or $4 mark by Dec because then I will have to spend extra to reach my goal. That's a nice type of 'worry' to have. ;)
Keeping that number in my mind, I will be planning the execution of my activities on the platform. The community is very supportive, I just need to put myself out there every single day. 10K LP is not too big or not too small of a target but it will help me set the base for the next 3-5 years. Let's do it!
