My 7 reasons why I love using hive on a daily basis! Tell me yours!
One of the first things I do in the morning and also before I go to bed is check my hive/leofinance feed for new posts and for new replies to my posts that may need immediate assistance.
What about you?
I had never wondered why. Why do I come and post on hive every single day? Why do I use this medium so much and so often?
I was asked this question during my interview for a research and at that moment I thought .. "I bet many people ask on the internet" Why should I use any of these so-called decentralized social media?
In this post, I will share my point of view about why I post here. The reasons why I choose to visit this platform and spend as much time as I do.
I would like to read your opinion below, do you agree? Would you like to add something?
I will post the questions in an interview-like way, and they will be at the end of this post in case you would like to post about it to a different post.
Let's start with ..
How many hours a day do you spend on hive?
If you add up the different times of day that I enter, using a variety of different front - ends such as hive.blog, peakd.com, leofinance.io, ecency app etc - I would say that at least 2 hours a day I am active here. I need to say that due to my job, I spend a number of hours every day on my laptop too.
Do you often visit other decentralized social media?
Yes, but not so often and not always on a daily basis.
Why do you use hive on a daily basis?
.1. H-o-m-e
Hive feels like my internet home. I can find out any topic I wish to read about, I can search out in different communities or with different tags, ro check out what my friends wrote about. I learn both the crypto news, and also the news about hive platform and every update there is to know.
News, Entertainment, Fun
.2. Curate
Curation means upvoting the post that a user likes.
Whenever I read an interesting post, I upvote(like) it. This way both the author of the post, the other people who upvoted (liked it), and me, are earning cryptocurrency tokens.

.3. Interact with the community
I always check for comments on my posts and also comment to other users' posts when I have something meaningful to ask or share.
.4. A post a day ...
I try to always post one post every day. The subjects are not the same every day. Sometimes I post about something brand new that I have found out and wanted to share, sometimes I post tutorials about apps that I use or reviews and sometimes I participate in challenges or post travel / photo posts. I try not to leave any day without posting an (always unique and original) post on the hive blockchain.

.5. Wallet checking
Hive is so much more than a social media. It is a blogging / crypto news / photography / gaming / bank platform -- you can do here pretty much anything you can think of!
I often visit my wallet to see if I have to claim rewards, if I need to put HBD to the savings (earning 20% APR) or anything else that may be new to try it out!

.6. Safe
I was asked .. why do you use hive over other social media? My answer .. I feel that my content & funds are safe here.
.7. Learning
If you know me for sometime, then you know my opinion about learning. I strongly believe that we need to obtain knowledge, especially when it comes to such new technology and to such groundbreaking changes that are shaking the world's financial systems.
I have started (and continue to this day) to use decentralized social media and to attend a variety of courses, seminars that have to do with digital currencies.
The best way to learn is always 'hands on training', but always, always with safety in mind!
Bonus
