The currency for Aruba. This is also called the Aruban guilder. Like many currencies, it can be divided into 100 cents.
The florin was introduced in 1986 to replace the Netherlands Antillean guilder.
There is a peg of 1.79 florin = $1 USD.
It is symbolized using ƒ.
Payments in USD are often accepted at 1.75 florin (ƒ).
