SplinterGlossary: Card Staking
It's a future functionality in the land expansion of Splinterlands (and in the Tower Defense game), that will lock cards on land plots (and towers in the TD game, respectively) in exchange for added benefits.
As an alternative meaning, the Runi NFTs from Ethereum can be staked to be used in-game in Splinterlands.
