SplinterGlossary: Champion Points
Champion points are earned by players who finish the season in one of
the Champion Leagues. They are mostly a vanity stat. They did play a minor role in the SPS airdrop, for the airdrop points calculation, but that's it.
The way they are calculated is like this: at the end of the season, players that finish in the Champion League (CL) will have their Champion Points increased by their rating minus 3700 (the rating limit for CL3). The higher they finish in the CL, the more points they receive.
The number of Champion Points a player has can be consulted from the profile page.
